Ty Gay Builders Inc (formerly Ty Gay Construction Co. Inc.) was established in 1989 by Ty A. Gay. A native of Kinston, NC, Ty is no stranger to the building industry. Construction was the family business, and he worked in it from a very early age. He gained a wealth of knowledge from this hands-on experience and from the people he worked along with over the years.

While our office is located in Kinston, NC, we have built in various surrounding areas. We have worked as close as Goldsboro, La Grange, Snow Hill, Greenville, and Deep Run and as far away as New Bern, Oriental, Minnesott Beach, and Swansboro. Our service community includes the counties of Lenoir, Wayne, Jones, Greene, Pitt, Duplin, Pamlico, Craven, and Carteret.

We are a general contracting firm that specializes in custom home design and construction, but we do not put a size limit on the work that we take on.
